maybe you should swallow some zoloft

Interesting input. You sure haven't changed much, thanks anyways. :]

You say you don't understand, but that last sentence is all there is to understand about it.

Your message is nothing but words about life, but without these words, without language or the ability to use language or create language, you'd never worry about these questions, you'd live a life and nothing more, no questions, no worries.

You want a reason to live, here it is, wihtout language, without a mind, just the body and a pumping heart: Genetic Immortality.
You live to reproduce and die, so your genes can live on. That's it. Our minds are nothing but a toy to keep us amused along the way.

That's kind of the ironic thing about it, though to anyone but me it's meaningless really. I already know what you speak of, and I've explored much more than that. This is not a phase I'm going through, but more like a rebirth or better put; a recall on life. I've said stuff like this before, but when you think too much, this lost feeling kinda comes back to you and reminds you about what life really is.

Maybe it's a little understandable.
Time effects everything, even rocks... like, they turn into sand.

Life isn't something that's meaningless.

In my opinion, the meaning of life is to live.
If you don't live, then what's the point?
Possibly, not living IS living to some people.

Thanks for that the rocks turning in to sand part, that actually means something.

You live in Manchester, don't you? If you want to understand all about life, just go to Old Trafford to see Cristiano Ronaldo playing soccer. I'm pretty sure you will understand life inmediatly.

If not, then go to the ''City Of Manchester Stadium'' to see Robinho.

After that, I think you will understand that life is very simple, and much easier that people thinks, and (want others to think).

Life is about having a good time. Just enjoy as much as you can, all the time that you can. That doesn't mean that you have to be selfish, but you have to do in you life, the same that Cristiano does in the grass.

If you do that, success is guaranteed!

:)

I do live in a Manchester, just not the popular one. Maybe my ideas come from the fact that this town is also so isolating, nothing to do ever.

Nice input though.

ah life is easy! there is no meaning in life. there is nothing to understand. its like trying to understand, nothing! ofcourse you think you dont, because there is nothing to understand.
and here is a even more nut cracking one that you give up on before you even start:
how did the universe get created? big bang just couldnt pop out of nowhere now could it? where did the first piece of dust come from? why? this is the not possible to answer question ^^

I like your casual view. :]

I purposefully dont try to understand it anymore, im happily ignorant, yet i try to keep a grasp on the important things to me.. friends, family, love, relationships, passion in whatever direction i go and trying to appreciate all the little things..

the biggest thing to lead you astray in my eyes.. is TRUTH. Loads of people deny it, they kid themselves, lie, pretend.. they lose what is important. Being totally honest with who you are, and what is important to you is the best thing..thats what i think anyway.

Unfortunately I couldn't live myself if I allowed total ignorance. I need to know, I have a hunger for knowledge.

The point of life is to not fail at life. If you're alive right now, you're not doing too bad so far.

Very true. Just living is still a passing grade.

Here's all the meaning you'll ever need:

amateurish philosophy on newgrounds,

go to college before making silly posts like this,

so contrite and overdone, like the emo kid who thinks himself unique, you are the wannabe-erudite scholar, the wishful pedantic, young and dumb, but filled with arrogance and potential

questioning someone else's beliefs doesn't make you smarter than them, intelligence and inquisitiveness are not linearly related, due well to remember that fact next time.....

I feel sorry for you, someone who preaches about questioning others while doing it himself.

Yes, I am young, dumb no, ignorant and arrogant yes. Emo kid who thinks himself unique? Hardly the case, I've known for a very long time the chances of being anything but average or below average are very slim, and I am not the first to do or think anything. A very simple truth everyone has to grasp at one point or another.

You are a smart person, I can tell, but cruel and misinformed.

I'll start by commenting on what OnegaiMaster said and then make my actual comment on the post after:

And what is "amateurish philosophy"? Are the first philosophers to be considered amateurs? What does college provide for the soul that isn't already inherently there?

"so contrite and overdone, like the emo kid who thinks himself unique, you are the wannabe-erudite scholar, the wishful pedantic, young and dumb, but filled with arrogance and potential"

This is only a projection of yourself onto another; Negative energy in this zero-point field... What you THINK shapes YOUR universe; Is yours so filled with doubt that you have to try and spread it to others?

Onto the Post:

We all have a philosophers stone in our minds and the elixir of life in our veins... To live is to generate love with your mind and soul, externally, internally, metaphysically; To make love to YOUR universe; regardless of others efforts to stop you.

On the idea of "understandability":
Can you understand what's going on when you are riding in a car? Can you understand what happens when you have a feeling or a deep thought? Can you understand why the wind blows with such sweet severity? To try and understand something is futile... To feel something is life.

I wish all the best things for you in life, and you should do the same for yourself. Its not about the end of the symphony or the purpose of the music, its about singing and dancing.

Very informed and helpful post, I thank you for clearing up what Onegai said for me in a better put way. Everything you say is pretty much truth.

I'd say more but my mind is pretty blank, thanks though. :]

My reason for living is to find my reason for living. I know that there is some reason, somewhere, and I if can get to that, or even help someone get to that in the span of my life, I shall know that I lived a worthwhile life.

Apparently, the people whose life really matter go into the history books, I've heard. The problem with that is that history and humankind as a whole is forgetful. America supposedly has founding fathers, but one of the most influential is known to less than 5% of the population. Important battles have been waged centuries ago that we will never know about. They could have changed the world, but no one even knows their existence. Therefore, living to be known is pointless.

My reason for living is also because I can't stop living. If I were, I know that I would be missed, people would be hurt, etc. Therefore, to help these people with their lives, I must continue mine. If even a single one of them does anything "worthwhile" or discovers true happieness, or perhaps even purpose, then I shall also know that I have lived a worthwhile life.

One last thing...Think about yourself (whoever reads this, not just the author of the post). Now, think about how much smaller you are than your house. Now think about how much smaller you are than your community. Now the city, and then the area around you. Now try the state/province. And now the country. The continent, the entire world, the solar system. Now the Milky Way galaxy. By now, you must reavlize that you are just the tiniest spec of the universe and nothing you do will ever matter.

Very true. I'm glad you're able to put it into kinder words than most could.

First mate i love your music and i am egerly awaiting the full vercion of layerz!!!

Life is indeed mysterious... Although my idea is that people should merely sit back and enjoy the ride, while letting someone else think the big thoughts. Don't you agree? ;)

Life is not about being inmortal or remembered, but being someone who is good and do good things, someone who helps people to feel better, someone who can shine with the smile of someone he/she has helped. We are not perfect and that makes us understand the other's problems. So why not using that skill to be good people and help those who need it?

It's not a question of understanding, God has created us and we have something beautiful we need to learn to respect and love: our life and the life of the others. Not a question of understanding... just living (as you said). Sometimes it's not about being logical... but just about 'being'. You can get lost if you don't let yourself undertand that it's not about knowing why life is this way or the other, but it is about living and doing our best with everyone, even with those you might feel unconfortable with. Time heals many of hour wounds, belive it or not. Time helps to accept and do the best. You might loose someone... but you will never loose those perfect moments full of joy. That will stay when the wound is healed.

Give yourself time to rest and just enjoy the sun on your face, or the smell of a flower, the smile of a relative, or the conversations with those friends we sometimes leave aside... Beauty is all around. Even your song 'Silent Tears' will mean something even more beautiful for you when time had healed your wound. (I must tell you that I was listening to the Orchestal version of that song while I was writing this comment - a song that can inspire feelings is a Perfect Song. Thanks for sharing this masterpiece with the World).

All the happiness

So many questions, so few answers. Tell somebody you need a hug, and it will help. Im sorry for your loss.

Life? I have a few ideas in mind, but they're not looking at life in a general matter - they're relying on the human and religious aspects.

I personally believe that life is a "baptism of fire" for the soul, a method to separate the strong, pure souls from the ones who have gave way and fallen into darkness. I also find life - at least for us humans - to be an interesting antithesis. A quite disturbing one, but nonetheless interesting.

Firstly, life gives us the wondrous opportunity to "train" our soul and to put its strength to the test. We live in order to discover the world around us, and to find out who we are, and to perfect ourselves, to bring equality to all of us.

Yet life inevitably shows us - through what we see in our society - how cruel and malevolent we truly are, how we manipulate, mock and opress the poor and the helpless, how we always bring pain to others of our kin instead of seeking peace for all. Our entire history is riddled with wars and strife.

Life is supposed to free one's soul and allow him to choose his own way, yet we're stripped of our freedom and forced to obey the laws of a corrupt society - how will that take us past this baptism?

If life is a "baptism of fire" meant to develop one's soul to make it resilient and pure, then how will we ever complete the baptism if our souls are exposed to violence and corruption everyday? Ever since ancient times mankind has dreamed of peace and prosperity and swore to bring it, yet that moment never came; corruption and evil still lingers amongst us. Everything can be achieved if we try - but do we try to make it better for ourselves? Instead of trying to create a stable and prosperous society, scientists are preoccupied in creating newer, more deadly weapons so we can wage even more distructive wars. Instead of eliminating conflicts by vaporizing all the belligerents involved in it, shouldn't we be eliminating conflicts by living in a well-organized and peaceful society?

And here's where a problem arises. If you think for a bit, it's a colossal flaw. Any society which seeks to eliminate conflicts and to bring peace and prosperity relies on two important aspects: HONESTY and FAIRNESS. Why did communism fail? Because it heavily relied on these two. In today's world we are lied to ever since we're born. You lie to your neighbour, he lies to you, car companies lie about safety and economy, the police lies about crimes, there are lies in the news, your boss lies to you, even the President lies to his own country. It's gone so far that it's an everyday aspect by now. And fairness is another abyss to cross. Russia and USA might shake hands and be friends, but they'll both hold a knife behind, ready to stab one another if a common, competitive goal arises. There will always be someone chomping at the bit, someone trying to grab that extra piece of land, that extra sack of money, even though they're supposed to maintain equality. There always will be someone looking to grab that last beer at the party, there'll always be a country trying to take that extra mile of land because its a good place to build secret nuclear silos and launch nukes when situations go rough. On the news they'll say "We don't have an active nuclear program, and all our warheads have been dismantled and ejected into space, we don't want to ruin our society by breaking the equality pact" but somewhere in a quiet hidden spot they'v got nuclear silos and 100 nuclear intercontinental missiles ready to turn an entire country into a radioactive wasteland.

Honesty and fairness are our flaws - in the sense that we lack them. It's in our nature to be like this, millenia of war have heightened our competitive and offensive instincts and now we'll do just about anything to get the upper hand on even the most unimportant of things. We need to correct those before we can create a stable society, and thus eradicate conflicts and spare the future genrations of corruption and evil, keeping their souls clean from negativity and thus allowing them to pass the test of life. It will require a gigantic amount of effort from our behalf, but we need just to WANT to do it. And once we will WANT to pass the test, will we be able to move on forwards.

Jesus saved us once, but that was a "one-chance-only" favor. Now it's our turn to save ourselves and prove that we are ready and willing to go to the next level.

@DevilDog016 I'm not on my music account but I am the creator of this account. I do not expect that you will ever read this.

You're brilliant. I do not know how old you were when you wrote this but I was very young, in my teens, and I am turning 30 this year. There is much wisdom in what you wrote to me while I was young, and honestly even as I write this I still feel as though I'm a child.

I did not turn out to be a religious man, but I am a spiritual one. I do not believe in gods or deities or an afterlife but I do believe that all creation, all life and all matter, is inherently connected deeply beyond our understanding.

What my spirituality taught me in my journey through life so far is as you said in your wisdom years ago.

I was ignorant then, I still am but I am more aware now and I try to educate myself. So perhaps you knew how things were with korea, the missiles and how they would pretend to stop but it was an obvious lie. Even if you didn't, you knew about the state of the world and how we are. How it has been. How things have been progressing. You were aware of the best and worst of humanity and the steps it would take to overcome despair, not just as an individual but as a species.

The only answer to life is to live. The answer was always obvious, but growing up it's difficult to accept. Live an honest, kind life. Love others.

There is nothing else. Nothing but love. Unconditional love will save humanity, and while we may be far off still, there are many who realize that we're all in this together.

I hope you've had a safe journey. Best wishes.
