So many good ideas, but...

Posted by Dj-Flux Jun. 18, 2008 @ 11:55 PM EDT

I ruin them all. :[

I've been making amazing melodies and bass lately but I keep ruining it because I have NO clue how to make an intro anymore. I'm absolutely intro impaired, I can get EVERYTHING if I can just get the intro; but if I don't get the intro I can't get anything after that because I'm so focused on being pissed at the shitty intro. :(

Throw me some tips if you will, it'd help a lot. <3

Haha, that's kind of hard...

I can't just make a random intro in a completely different style than what I'm building up to. :[

Why don't you Collab with someone and have them do the intro.

Jun. 19, 2008 | 1:24 AM Dj-Flux responds:

I have a buddy I've been waiting to collab with for a while, but he doesn't have Nexus yet and I use that for almost everything.

And we're both pretty bad at the same stuff, so we can barely help each other.

So in other words, I don't know how to effectively collab and I don't have anyone to collab with.

Pratice on some exicting songs then get some inspiration. Then you can make your own sweet tunes again.

It all depend on your styloe of making music. If you deal with music with low notes then start it on a high note to get it ready for something different, or try starting with just drums in a serious fast pace. Just experiment with different instruments and if that doesn't help start listening to different music to see how they start thier intro. Best of luck to your music making and your future endevers,
